As far as Bing goes, we are talking about the Raiders. Take a look at their draft history. When Al Davis get a hard on for player he will make the moves and pull the trigger. I also don't see why Bing is a reach in the 1st.

The SF & Denver thing is a different animal all together. Denver's got other picks in case they want to do something in the first round. The extra was their to play with and do whatever they wanted with.
The Bears got nothing else. It's like when you're selling a car, you don't go out and say "jeez I need to get rid of this car like no one's business" It lowers your value from the start.
And as far as Bing goes, he could go in the first. The Steelers are apparently very interested as well. I just think that, like anything else at this stage, it's a lot of misinformation and "strategic misrepresentation" that's going on.
