I just wanted to throw this out there and see what people thought.

Could Kiwi play SAM LB in a 4-3 defense? I know everyone has talked about him as a 3-4 OLB and obviously there are some major differneces between the 3-4 and 4-3. But could he make the change to the 2 point stance?

I mean, he's more athletic than Pollack is and he was solid for a rookie last year. Kiwi has the speed to keep up with TE's in pass coverage but would have to work on his zone coverage skills and his man coverage technique. Meanwhile, although he is "weak" against the run, by playing OLB, his weakness wouldnt be as exposed.

Again, just wanted to throw this out there and see what comes up before tomorrow.

Any thoughts?

He's a tall SOB. I know he is fast, but can he move around?

It'd be a pretty big gamble drafting him for that reason only. Might work out, but I think he'd be best at DE. I was never really feeling him at 3-4 OLB either.

Pollack excelled in agility tests, so much that Marv wasn't concerned whether he could handle it. Kiwi is awfully tall.. I don't see him transitioning well.

He couldn't handle OLB in a 3-4 let alone a 4-3.

Just my 2 cents.
