Ingram is a great coverage LB, he lead the team in INT's last year. He won't impress you with his size or speed, but he has great intangibles and is real smart on the field. He knows where to be, and can cover a TE very well. I was figuring him to go in the 4th, but you got a good player in the 3rd.

I would hope he'd have atleast very good speed.

Jags had a very good first day, IMO. Ingram will challenge Griesan for that starting job at LB. There wasn't a happier guy in Jacksonville then Leftwich when Marcedes was selected. He's going to be a helluva tight end for the Jaguars if they actually utilize the tight end, which i'm sure they'll do now that they have someone who knows how to catch a pass [cough]brady[cough] or stay healthy [cough]wrighster[cough]. Pearman won't be getting much PT anymore which Drew aboard. Drew does everything Pearman does, except he does it all much better. Wouldn't be shocked if he takes over for Freddy T as the premiere back in Jacksonville after next season.

That's what makes me very happy about getting Lewis. We finally won't have to throw it to Kyle Brady anymore. Whether he fumbles it(Colts game), or drops it.

I really liked the Jags draft. They took some nice Offensive talent from UCLA. I fully expect a break out year from Byron Leftwich next season if he can get some protection.
Marcedes Lewis - solid target in the passing game, great leaper...makes amazing catches in traffic, has great concentration, need to become a more polished blocker but he has potential there with his size.
Maurice Drew - really the only knock on him..was his size. If he only he was a few inches taller he would've been a 1st rounder I believe. He has the break away speed, and is extremely tough to bring down in the open field, low running style helps him break tackles...and he's a threat returning kicks as well.
Clint Ingram - like you I don't know much about him..but he seems like a playmaker...and I know OLB was a need spot. He seems a bit undersized...but it looks like he's great dropping back in coverage and reading the short passes from his highlights.

Pred, what do you think they're going to do about their o-line situation? More specifically, Vince Manuwai. I hear JDR and Shack aren't high on him at all anymore. I thought they would have made a move to draft either a guard to challenge him or a center so they could move Meester back to his natural position. You do have Norman, who played good in place of Meester the last 4 games last season so Brad could maybe move back to LG, plus Mike Williams will challenge at guard. You content with those guys?

Vince has become a lazy bastage from what I understand. I was hoping we could get Max Jean Giles, though he's still available, we don't have a 4th round pick anymore.
Overall, it's not a horrible group. We just need some cohesiveness for the group. I just hope the front office isn't depending on Mike Williams to somehow turn a new leaf. And I hope Khalif can come back healthy from his leg injury.
