Our best QB is not at WR. If you have Thompson on there, you have to have Bomar on there. Also, Sanchez is easily better than Booty.

Is this a ranking for the draft or for the college season? Because I think Chris Leak will be a decent NFL QB in the right situation.

This is the draft forum. Sub 6 foot QBs don't go high.

I know that like the rest of the world does but why the hell would I list guys on a draft watch list when they won't be coming out?

7. Tyler Palko – Pittsburgh

He'll be top five by season's end too!

I don't know why people keep saying Leak is so bad. He really isn't. He is the same height and weight as Drew Brees except with better mechanics, footwork, more production, and a lot more athletic ability. I know he needs to improve his decision making and use ability to run much more (which I mentioned an a radio show I did, pm if you would like to listen to it. It's a 37 minute 2007 Draft Special). But, he could be in for a big season now that he has a year of Meyer's system under his belt. Look at what Alex Smith did in his junior season under the same system.

I never said Leak was a bad player. My point is that with his lack of height he will never be a particularly high pick. Drew Bress kind of backs that up considering his college production. If Leak was taller and more consistent we'd be talking about a potential top 10 pick. However his lack of size is a killer. No QB who is sub 6"0 has gone in the first round for well over a decade.

Is that the same Matt Guterrez as the one from Michigan? Did he finally transfer?
