Red face

The following is a list of all the teams in the NFL and what NFL Draft Countdown believes are their top three needs (in order, I believe). Before I make my first mock draft for 2007 (yeah, I know, it's ridiculously early; but I'm bored and this is something to do) I thought I'd run those lists past the fans of those teams. I, for instance, don't agree with the needs he has for the Broncos. Well, without further ado, here are the lists:

Tennessee Titans: CB, OT, ILB
Oakland Raiders: DT, QB, DB
New York Jets: OLB, RB, DB
San Francisco 49ers: WR, OLB, DB
Green Bay Packers: WR, SS, DE
Buffalo Bills: QB, OT, CB
St. Louis Rams: OLB, DL, S
Philadelphia Eagles: WR, OLB, CB
Houston Texans: LT, S, LB
Detroit Lions: QB, RT, DL
Cleveland Browns: DL, OL, OLB
New Orleans Saints: OLB, DT, OT
Washington Redskins: CB, DT, OL
Kansas City Chiefs: WR, DT, OT
Atlanta Falcons: DT, S, OL
Tampa Bay Bucs: CB, DE, OLB
New York Giants: DT, LT, RB
Cincinnati Bengals: TE, S, OL
San Diego Chargers: WR, FS, LB
New England Patriots: DB, LB, WR
Minnesota Vikings: QB, MLB, RB
Jacksonville Jaguars: OLB, DE, OG
Arizona Cardinals: FS, LB, CB
Baltimore Ravens: S, RT, QB
Dallas Cowboys: FS, OL, QB
Miami Dolphins: OLB, DB, OL
Seattle Seahawks: OL, S, RB
Indianapolis Colts: LB, OL, CB
Chicago Bears: TE, WR, OL
Pittsburgh Steelers: RB, C, LB
Carolina Panthers: OLB, S, TE
Denver Broncos: DE, WR, RB

I'd like to thank everyone in advance for the feedback.

BRIAN LEONARD!

Right now OC/OG might be less of a concern than OT. The guys seem to like the youngins we brought in late plus Kemoeatu and Simmons are still young. (though we all know Simmons is iffy with the diabetes and injury history). Our depth at OT is definitely a concern though and Marvel Smith looks less and less like a pro bowler with each passing season.

With IKE TAYLOR's contract status still pending I think that's a bigger concern than LB right now. (Harrison and Frazier are looking very capable while Coke is coming along very slowly leaving us with only McFadden as a starting caliber CB should Taylor depart.)

I'd say safety is a bigger concern for the Panthers than OLB at this point. Maybe OT for the future, if Wharton doesn't continue to improve. I wouldn't be shocked if they drafted a QB in the 1st round in either 2007 or 2008 - as the future starter after Jake's time is up.

Besides some obvious concerns for any team it's way to early to make a list like this. Shame on Scott for even trying. You never know who might step up, get injured or what rosters moves will be made.

He has FS listed 1st for Dallas and odd's are by the end of the season it won't even be top 5.

I think everyone understands this (I made mention to it in my original post) but that doesn't mean that you can't still go along with it. This is just something that I'd like to do for fun. Think of it this way: getting no information that would change your opinion about any of the players on any of the teams (pro and college) what would you like to see your team address in the next draft? Try not to take this too seriously. Any help would be appreciated and thanks to those who already have volunteered information. Your opinions will be taken into account.

He's the talk of camp. By far the most impressive rookie. Guy just has a nose for the ball. BP loves him as well whcih is key for a rookie on a team coached by Bill. He will be the starter at some point if not in week 1.

It was not a comment made to you. I understand your intentions and have no problem with it. I'm just surprised Scott jumped into this so early.
