Gimme either Meriweather 1st, and Samardzija 2nd, or preferably, Dwayne Jarrett 1st, and Aaron Rouse 2nd.

I like Adibi... but the first seems so high for him especially for what is still on the board at that time.

Which is why he is pick 47 in this list.

One Lsu player in the first 3 rounds? No D. Bowe? J. Russell? C. Pittman? A. Highsmith? C. Davis? J. Vincent? J. Daniels? All of these guys are in or near the top 5 at their positions and none are drafted?
[/b]
I see Bowe falling because right now he's probably slower than 4.6 which won't excite NFL personnel guys

Doubt Russell comes out because he's still so raw

Pittman could go end of day 1 but he's not an elite prospect

Don't see Highsmith coming out

Davis will be a late round pick he's probably your 3rd best WR draft wise

Vincent's a day 2 prospect probably too

Daniels again isn't close to day 1

To suggest they're top 5 in their positions is dellusional

I think I'd rather have CJ at #3. Roos looks good, and I'd take a playmaker over a LT for this team.

Sears in the 2nd would be nice if we wanted a RT or OG.

Don't know much about the guy from texas, but before getting two o-lineman on the 1st day, I'd like to see how things go with Bell and Stewart (I think Amano has looked pretty good too).

A DE upgrade would be nice. Too bad so far it doesn't look like there's a monster this year.
[/b]
I like CJ a lot too but you don't pass up a T prospect this good for a WR. I haven't seen a college T dominate like Thomas for years. Outside of last year's injury he's near flawless and gives the team a 10 year bookend which helps a young QB more than another skill play.

Tall and physical guy who does have a few issues with separation he's a clutch player and is a mismatch on most DBs

Oh and one more thing... where is Matt Spaeth, TE Minnesota ranked this year. Guy has tremendous size and abilities, and is a great blocker as well!

He could go round 3 onwards but could also fall to day 2

If Bowe runs slower than a 4.6 (which I don't know why he would, cause he runs a sub 4.5), it still wouldn't drop him out of the first day. Even Anquan Bolden went in the second round and he ran over a 4.7.

Russell is definately coming out after this year, book it. He is not raw and it is odd that people would say that about him. He is in his 4th year at school and he has started the majority of the last 3.

Pittman is a judgement call and I'll respect that. Same with Highsmith. Davis is an extreme sleeper and will shoot up the charts at the end of the season. He is technically the best WR on the squad and has the most skills (only Bowe could be ranked higher than him).

I would agree about Vincent, because he is playing injured right now. But alot of people had him ranked in the top 5 in the beginning of the season, even on this board. Daniels is a top 10 safety (according to what I have read) and is only getting better.

Right now the time I have on Bowe is a 4.68 which is pretty bad. Obviously if he has a great workout/combine and lowers that then he moves up.

Thing with Russell is that he has all the skills and physical ability but is still inconsistent against elite teams. If he comes out I think he's a 1st rounder because of his upside but am not sold on it happening.

If Daniels is a top 10 safety which is debatable then that still doesn't neccesarily make him a first day pick. Safety is one of the lower rated positions but NFL front offices because it's so easy to fill with servicable non elite types which are effective.
