Yeah but 3 1st round LB's in consecutive years? And then a 2nd last year? I think Burnett can eventually fill the role beside James, or it could be reversed and have Carpenter do that and Burnett outside.

The o-line still sucks. FA didn't seem to do a lot, maybe it should be draft time again for the line. Maybe a WR, I don't see TO around more than maybe 2 years.

I doubt we are picking at #18... but I like the first pick... though it looks like we might not need a LB. I think we need a DE for the future, and especially with Hayward coming off an achilles injury next season. Who's to say Hayward will be back to his old self?

I know it seems crazy but look at how Bill built the Giants defense. It's not unheard of for Bill to draft the same position 3 or 4 years in a row with early picks. I agree, OL and WR should be the top 2 priorities but Bill has shown over and over again that he's not going to take an OL in round 1 and has only taken a WR and handful of times. For some reason, he prefers to trust his scouting department to find late round players at those positions.
