Ive never seen Tate play, but Ive read someplaces that they consider him an overrated pro prospect.

He's the size of Flutie but he's tougher than Ponderosa steak. I've seen him a couple of times, in paticular the comeback game against LSU two seasons ago. Tate has skills, but the height thing will be an issue.

Ouch. Tate wouldn't even be taken in the 1st 2-3 rounds, let me rephrase, he wouldn't be taken AT ALL, a la Brad Banks...haha. There's about 10 other QB's I'd take before that cat. He's only 5'11" and 191lbs. Stanton sits at 6'3" 235lbs and he's a gunner!

I agree, he's a mid-rounder. but the few times I've seen Stanton, I have'nt been impressed as to his NFL potential.

Well look at what he has to work with. The kids a baller. He'll shock some people in the NFL.

I swear to God. If I hear one more person bring up Doug Flutie when a conversation about short QB's comes up I'm going to slit my wrists, lol....Show me an active QB in the NFL that sits at 5'11". Everyone forgets flutie went to the flippin USFL, a lot of his stats were also out of canada. He was decent, but who has been taken since then. I mean, you have to draft for height now. These D linemen are like 6'5"+ and 300lbs+. Things have changed since flutie "tore it up."

Mike Vick is what, 6 foot. I have heard some say he's not even that. ESPN's draft man Mel Kuipers also said that Stanton could be a possible first rounder. He would work better in a offense that doesn't feature the pass. He is accurate in the begining of the game, but tails off.
