Oh hell no... although I did swap sides on the whole C. Johnson thing. No fun though if everybody agrees.

Well, that cleared everything up. Guess we should just ignore the 5 or 6 games left in the season, the bowl games, combine workouts, campus days, personal workouts and everything else. Funny thing is, as I'm reading this, I'm watching Mich State get blown out by Northwestern (yes, Northwestern). It's 28-3 and it's just the start of the 3rd quarter. Wow, Stanton is a stud. I can see why you have him so high on the list. Really helps your rankings there.

He just threw another interception (and it was 31-3, not 28-3). So Northwestern is about to score again.

it's my prediction of what will happen. obviously i'm not seriously telling anyone to follow my prediction that would be dumb as i have been wrong about stuff like this before.

Troy Smith and Biran Brohm are the only two quarterbacks I'd take in the first round.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(Ronald McDawgpounder @ Oct 20th ) </div> Yeah, that's what I meant.
Quinn and Brohm are both top-notch franchise QB prospects. Troy Smith looks to be racing up the boards though, no QB in the nation is playing better than he is.

Have you been watching any college football this year? Drew Stanton is horrible. I'm not saying that to be cruel or hateful, the guy has just been terrible. Now, I guess you figure he'll shake it off and shine the rest of the year, but that is doubtful cause now he's injured. Even if he plays through it, he will still struggle. On a different note, how often does a rookie QB fall to the right team and shine? Most suck the first year and that is expected.
I just don't see where you are coming from with Russell needing another year. He has started more games than Smith or Brohm and is younger than both. If he finishes out this year, he will have started somewhere around 30 games in his career. That is more than enough. I can rattle off about 10 first round QBs over the last 10 years who had less starts in college. It's just a weak arguement.
Russell is coming out this year. So no need to rename the thread. Maybe Brohm will come back and we can start another called White vs. Brohm 2008. That'll be fun.

I'm sure they disagree with you in Evanston, Ill.

Russell looked pretty good pulling that win out against Tennessee today. He's a good player, but he's still not in the Quinn range. A couple more games like that this season and I'll bet his stock will sky rocket.
