There's always an Offensive Tackle that's considered a top 5 draft pick every year...Jared Gaither is that guy in '08.

Gaither is the #1 player in that draft for me. Athletically he's a different level to Boone.

Boone's not even the best tackle on his team.

He has all the potential in the world, he just needs to put it all together on the field. He's not as solid as i'd like, but he's still young.

Right now, Kirk Barton is doing an excellent job in both pass protection and run blocking. Boone EXCELS in run blocking, he's a mammoth.

Well it is obvious why offensive tackles get picked so high in the draft all the time considering how important they are to the success of an NFL team. It is hard to find a great offensive tackle, and when they are they they get taken very early.

As for Boone, I am basing it all off potential and what he could become. I do not agree with the statement than Barton is playing better though, if Boone was not on that offensive line that would be a huge missing link to that team.

It is crazy how many great players Ohio State has, almost without question they have the best ILB and CB prospect in the nation come next years draft.

As for Gaither, well I have heard about his great athletic ability, I have never been able to see him play though. But hypothetically if he is as good of athlete as people say yeah he would possibly be picked ahead of Boone.

Malcolm Jenkins should for his senior year. Had Ashton Youboty stayed, he would've been a top 15 pick most likely.

However, Jenkins IS a year ahead of Youboty... we'll see how he does. I'm hopeful.
