I wasn't getting defensive... I was getting offensive.

The problem with JLH is that this talent is loaded at WR. You have every type of WR, and many of them are the same type as Higgins, with more talent (see Tedd Ginn Jr.). Any other year, he would be higher most likely, but this year is absolutely loaded. I've only seen him play a few times, but he will never be a #1 in the NFL IMO, more of a deep threat similar to Todd Pinkston.

The same was said about Steve Smith, probably.
And Todd Pinkston? I don't think they have similar styles.

Not saying that. Just saying that Pinkston was primarily used as a deep threat throughout his career. He never did much else. Does he ever return punts/kicks? With 4.2 speed I'm sure he can be put to use there.

Yes. Other than Tedd Ginn, JLH might be one of the most electric return men in the entire nation... he's returned 2 so far this year... and they were jaw dropping. Should have had a 3rd in the Houston game but they said he stepped out, when he was nowhere near the sideline.
I also think that JLH could be used just like Steve Smith. Whether it be the flat routes or the deep routes... or reverses. JLH will help a team, depending on who it is and the system they run.

Pred,
I think you;ll remember I was the one touting this guy as the next Ashley Lelie as of last year.
Not in terms of NFL production but in terms of the guy that played for the small conf school had all the speed measureables and production to warrant top consideration but no one seemed to talk about him. Ashley Popped into the first round his draft season, maybe Higgins will start to get the same respect soon too. the guy had like 10 TD's as a soph and a sick ypc to go along with his proported 4.3 speed.

I missed that. And it'd be awesome for him to be a 1st day pick.... hopefully all of these Junior WRs don't come out.

I KIND OF AGREE WITH MOST OF WHAT HAS BEEN SAID. IT'S JUST A STRONG YEAR RIGHT NOW AT WR. PLUS COMING INTO THIS YEAR MOST JUST SEEN HIM AS A DEEP THREAT AND NOT MUCH MORE. HE'S MOVING ON MY BOARDS THOUGH FOR SURE. COME DRAFT TIME I'D SAY SOMEWHERE IN THAT LATE 1ST DAY OR EARLY 2ND DAY RANGE.
