Yeah Reggie Nelson is obviously a player. Just think what that Florida defensive backfield would be like without him, they would be absolutely horrible, he covers up for so many mistakes. I say again though, much like Whitner last year Nelson most likely will come out early and be a first round pick because of his great speed and physical tackling ability.

I do not see the CB more for him though, why put such a great tackler at corner? I think he would not be the same because he seems to like to float around freely and make plays all over compared to being locked on one side of the field with a sideline right beside you.

Reggie Nelson is my new #1 at safety for this draft. This is an incredibly deep class at that position, a fact that I think would allow a team to come away with a "steal" in the middle rounds if they're looking for a starter to complement an already solid defensive backfield and defense.

Like I've said before, I think the Broncos would be smart to pick up two safeties in this draft: one to play alongside Lynch immediately (I'm liking Sabby Piscitelli in the 4th or later) and one to eventually replace him (I'd hate to use a first round pick on a guy that probably wouldn't play immediately, but Rouse and Griffin would do nicely).
