I picked out three guys from major conference schools that for some reason or another seem to have slipped under the radar as far as draft talk is concerned. I'm not saying that they should be in the mix for the first round, and maybe not even for the first day, but they should be talked about some. Their measurables and stats speak for themselves; they've been productive and are great blends of size and speed, but I'm hoping that some of you can bring more insight if you've seen them play. All in all, I guess that what I'm trying to say is that I'd be pretty damn pleased if my Broncos snagged all three of these guys in the middle rounds of next year's draft and I'd like to see if anyone out there can either convince me otherwise or back me up on it. So, without further ado:
1) Sabby Piscitelli, S, Oregon St.
Measurables: 6'3", 224 pounds and a 4.55ish forty
2004 and 2005 Stats: 23 games, 107 tackles, 16 passes defended and 9 INT
Notes: His height and weight are at or near the top in this draft class at his position and his speed is still average among all of the safety prospects.
2) Nate Harris, ILB, Louisville
Measurables: 6'1", 232 pounds and a 4.65ish forty
2005 Stats: 12 games, 66 tackles, 11.5 TFL and 7 sacks
Notes: He was a JUCO transfer.
3) Ryan Moore, WR, Miami (FL)
Measurables: 6'3", 225 pounds and a 4.45ish forty
Career Stats: 33 games, 82 catches, 1,215 yards (14.8 ypc) and 9 TDs
Notes: It appears as though he missed half of 2004 with an injury and he clearly isn't the focul point of the Hurricanes offense.
