I dont watch Illinois football or anything but i have heard this guys name come up a couple of times.
He plays lb and he seems to rack up alot of tackles.
I turned the channel a couple of weeks back to the OS/Illinois game and saw that he had a career high 19 tackles 4tackles for loss and a sack.
I havent ever seen him play but when a guy is that dominant in a game it gets your attention.
Thoughts?

I'm no scout, but he disappointed me in this last Illini game. Had a much better performance vs tOSU... but looked a step too slow and always arrived late in the one after.

I have Leman as the 3rd best JR ILB in the nation, he is getting better and better every week. He is all over the field and does a wonderful job reading plays and being in the position to make plays. It appears like he is a hard worker and a tough guy as well, he should be a fine NFL player but most likely will stay for his senior year.

Watch out for Illinois next year. Potentially on defense they could have Alan Ball and Vontae Davis at CB, then have Sanders and Mitchell at Safety, then at LB they could have Steele and Leman and up front they would have Pilcher and Walker at DE and inside have Norwell and Lindqust. That defense would be flat out amazing, I really hope highly rated guys like Mitchell and Ball come back just to see what that group on players could do, I think they could be great. Not to mention they have like 3-4 other very impressive FR DBs on the team as well, most notably Dere Hicks.
