Yes, that I did. Both played well.

But Troy Smith tends to steal the national spotlight.

I have never had anything against Smith as a football player. In fact I was one of the few that has said before the season even began that he was a top 3 QB (in college and as a potential pro).


The one thing that shocked me in this game though was how quiet the DT's were for both teams. Branch had a solid game but not what he is capable of doing. I barely even remember hearing Pitcocks name even being called.

Pitcock made a few plays.

He forced the intentional grounding, I believe. Patterson had at least one sack, and it was in the 4th quarter.
