I will almost garuntee that Troy Smith doesn't go that high, and you have to many TE going in the first round. And I think the Bears have other more pressing needs that a TE right now a SS (to replace Mike Brown), WLB (to replace Lance Briggs if he leaves), OL (to get some depth and youth).

Why can't Troy Smith go that high when Vince Young can go 3rd and Troy Smith is a more polished passer.

I guess the Bears wouldnt neccessarily take a TE, but the Bengals reallly need one, and the Panters could use one as well.

I know they could use one but if they want a TE they can probably wait until the later rounds to pick one up again just my opinion that they have more pressing needs.

5 inches shorter, slower, not a great passer, not built like a McNabb or Young, good arm...not great like Vick, still not really accurate. He will be lucky to even be a pro QB and not a WR.

I honestly dont think SF will go skill position, they really need defence. But then again they may not be able to pass on Johnson

What exactly makes a "good mock draft"?

Yeh Vince Young is 5 inches taller, but he throws as if he was 6'0. Vince Young was also in a one read system and wasnt in a pro style offense.
