Yeah...he had a torn labrum injury that cut his season short this year but his stats are very impressive and he can run.

53 catches for 621 yards and 11 touchdowns as a junior and this year had 33 catches for 403 yards and 5 TD's in only 6 games...good enough for 2nd team All-America for Division II (Zac Herold who is a prospect on my list was first team).

Boss was also a starting power forward on the basketball team for two seasons and last year led the team in rebounding and blocked shots.

Injury may force him a little lower on some teams charts but he should be good to go by camp this summer.

DJ, do you reall consider Allen Barbre a draftable prospect? I see 4 or 5 Southern games a year, and he's never really impressed me.

Absolutely......terrific speed and footwork...needs to add some upper body strength but he moves well in space and I know there are a few teams already singing his praises.

I didn;t find anything on CSTV but I did find this on YouTube.....as you can see he will be a power back at the NFL level...his lack of speed and cutback ability may keep him as a fullback or a shiort yardage bruiser. He does break a lot of tackles and you have to get a solid shot on his lower body to bring him down...no arm tackling or getting this guy high...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l-nkLygKQQk

BTW he was 4th in the Harlon Hill trophy Award last year and placed 3rd this season.

Interesting. I've always thought he played soft, and got overpowered too easily for my taste. I'll have to go back and watch my Southern games again...
