We have Al Harris and Charles Woodson. And we don't need a nickelback that badly. I'd say Greg Olsen or even Ginn would be more realistic.

Well he'd have a place on the field, and it's a good value pick. Grab Pittman in the 2nd and I'd be happy with the first two rounds.

IF STALEY WAS THERE I'D PROBABLY TAKE HIM OVER BLALOCK. ATHLETIC LT'S ARE DEFINITELY HARDER TO FIND THEN GUARDS. HE COULD USE THE YEAR TO GET STRONGER AND IMPROVE HIS TECHNIQUE.

I still would prefer Blalock because i feel that he has no bust factor. He's been playing with the big boys already for 4 years. I am really confident he will be one of the best young guards in the NFL in a couple years.
The only way I see blalock not developing into a great guard is if he gets injured. On the other hand who knows how good Staley will be. I feel like everyone is just clamoring over him because he runs a TE 40 instead of a OT 40.

he also has the ideal frame for an OT. he's got all the requisite athleticism and seemingly the smarts. all he's missing is the experience and technique, both of which can be taught by a good coach.
now...is he gonna be an opening-day starter? that's a stretch. but he'll be a good pick. i don't know if he's worth a first-rounder.

Yeah, guess I'm just lookin for them to pick someone that'd fix one of our biggest holes first. I have heard that Thompson is real big on Kenny Irons, maybe he'd fall to us in the second?

Your right, it's hard to project how the Bills will **** up but after spending 2 weeks on the road with them I have a pretty good idea of 3 or 4 players they target in that spot if they don't make a move.
You will end up with either Lynch, Pittman or Jackson in Buffalo either way so you can't really lose but I can promise you the Bills covet Eric Wright in the worst way and unless they trade way back in Round 1 or shock the hell out of everyone and pull the trigger way earlier then they should i can't see them setting themselves up to lose him.
As far as Ngata goes, only those who continued to ignore the fact that he did not fit into the Bills scheme continued to project him there but no one could of projected the Bills last year! lol

How late do you see Wright being available?

Im sure there will be people on the 49ers roster designated as Wide Recievers or Tight Ends. Hey, theres even Running backs. Im sure there will be SOMEBODY for him to throw the ball to.

Every year was something like:
Montana/Rice, Young/Rice, Montana/Taylor, Young/Owens, Young/Streets, Garcia/Owens...we have a WR to throw to that was an established WR.
Last year, it was Smith to...A Bryant. A Bryant was our no. 1 go to until Nolan got rid of him because of a stupid mistake. Lelie is only a temporary fix for I know he'll be dumped after year 1...so who exactly will be our GO TO? The Draft has WRs, but by the time it's our turn, they'll all be gone by the 2nd round and we'll have nobody to draft until like 2008, IF THAT POOL will have potential WRs for 2008.
Battle will never be a no. 1 WR, neither will Gilmore and Jacobs. We need to draft a WR.
