Then who is the WR ALex Smith is going to rely upon since we cut A Bryant? Lelie to me is good for maybe 70 passes, but that's a stretch. Can we get 2 years out of Lelie while we say draft a WR in 2008? Answer is I don't think so for we have a habit of getting a player like Lelie and sending him away a year later so doesn't common sense say get a WR, play him a few limited games so he learns the system, and then by 2008, you groom the WR to go into the game as our no. 1 starter, or maybe no. 2 if we were to squeeze out one more year out of Lelie if he has it? Best to get the WR in 2007 for who is out there in 2008 in the WR?
