I don't know anything about a stress fracture but it would not surprise me considering all the extra weight he is carrying around. People in SF were less then impressed with his conditioning last week during their personal visit and reports from Houston say he weighed in at 348 pounds which would be 23 pounds heavier then his last weigh in at Michigan.

I heard stress fractures or skin splits. Not sure which is right but people don't make these types of things up when they're a respectable source.

SOME DOCTORS I GUESS WERE SAYING STRESS FRACTURE AND THE OTHER WERE SAYING IT WAS SHIN SPLINTS.

We better...especially since the workout was in San Francisco, so they know first hand how poor his off-season conditioning has been, shin splits/stress fractures or not.

Alan Branch Says Stress Fractures Don't Slow Him Down
Posted Apr 21st 2007 2:18PM by Michael David Smith
In an ESPNews interview Saturday afternoon, Michigan defensive tackle Alan Branch acknowledged that he has had stress fractures in both legs, but he said he has played with them for years, and he strongly denied that they were serious injuries that should cause him to drop on draft boards.
"You can barely see a speck on the X-ray," he said. "I don't know why it's coming up now because I have never missed one practice, let alone one game."[/b]
