Think of your dream draft for your favorite team and write it down and let everyone know how you want the draft to go down. Do as many rounds as you feel you want to and make trades if you want, but dont get to rediculous and try to pick people somewhere near where they are projected. Criticize other peoples drafts or make suggestions doesnt really matter just try to have some fun with the draft instead of being so serious about it and criticizing other peoples draft that dont have the player you want picked to your team.
First for my dream draft I would have the Lions trade the #2 overall pick to the Atlanta Falcons for their #8, #39, #44, and #75.
So my picks would be...
Round 1
#8 (from Atlanta): Patrick Willis LB Ole Miss
I feel like he is the perfect MLB for the Tampa 2 Marinelli and Barry want to run and he has the versatility to play all the linebacker positions since he played them all in college.
Round 2
#34: Charles Johnson DE Georgia
Someone that can rush the passer and have the ability to stop the run as well.
#39 (from Atlanta): Marcus McCauley CB Fresno State
Need someone to replace Dre Bly being traded to Denver and he seems like someone that can step in right away and play in the Tampa 2.
#44 (from Atlanta): Aaron Rouse S Virginia Tech
Perfect person to replace Kennedy when he leaves and can sit back for a year before becoming the starter.
Round 3
#66: Drew Stanton QB Michigan State
Quarterback of the future who is tough and is very mobile which will allow him to evade the constant defenders that are going to be after him.
#75 (from Atlanta): Daymeion Hughes CB California
Another cornerback for a unit that needs some skill and size and this is another good fit for the Tampa 2 in my eyes.
Round 4
#101: Ryan Harris OT Notre Dame
Offensive tackle who can provide depth and have the ability to step in and play if need be, but will be able to learn for a lil while before he can step in and be the tackle of the future.
Round 5
#139: Ray McDonald DT Florida
Provides some depth on the defensive line where Marinelli will have these guys going hard all the time and keep rotating them in and out.
#145: Manuel Ramirez OG Texas Tech
Will provide depth and youth on an offensive line that continues to get better and better.
#154: Paul Williams WR Fresno State
Project wide receiver who seems to have some real talent and could possibly turn out to be a huge pickup for someone and could thrive it Martz's offense.
#158: Joe Newton TE Oregon State
Provides a red zone threat for the offense and can be a real threat with his frame at 6' 7''.
Round 7
#255: Justin Medlock K UCLA
Jason Hanson doesnt have much left in the tank even though I love him and Medlock showed he has a strong leg but who knows if he can last to this pick you can never really tell with kickers.
