Just finding out there was talks between Dallas and Detorit about the #2 pick in the draft. The deal was shot down after the two could not agree on terms. The final offer on the table involved the Cowboys giving up their 1st, 2nd and 3rd this year, 1st next year and Jason Witten.
Believe it or not, this was a done deal if Detroit would of come off their demands for next years #1 pick.
All pointless now but still interesting.

Why would they back off the 1st next year, that's a pretty big piece of the trade especially if they were to draft down as far.
But can you imagine if they did do it, then traded with the Browns. They would of had 3 1sts in 08.

i so wish we would have doen that except the fact that CJ is our only good pick so fair and its not even close to our biggest need
