Hey DJ, Coach Nolan hasn't stopped talking about Goldson. I know he was taken a little too high, but he fits in well with his great size.

They had a great draft

I obviously agree.

I think Carolina had the best draft, personally.

4 1st round picks potentially.

i dont see why it is odd that the broncos took another DE in the 2nd considering how bad the d line was last year.

No way just taking Landry gets them a B. Now they are stacked at safety. So? What about CB, and that pathetic D-line?
[/b]
having two bangin' safeties in the backfield means they're stacked?

for having a first round pick and nothing again until the 5th, they did a good job.

are you saying they should have picked up a corner in the 5th even if there weren't good ones there? instead of palmer with unproven jason campbell at qb? h.b. blades in the SIXTH round isn't good value?

shake your head all you want...for the picks they had, they did a pretty good job.

Wow...one player gets you a B...I see our scales are very different....How was Tyler Ecker good value? He was an undrafted free agent and lucky to be drafted.....
[/b]
tyler ecker is a good talent and behind cooley, the redskins don't have much.

while Craig Davis is good isn’t he just another Eric Parker?

no good corners??? This draft was loaded with depth at corner...there were 20-25 corners they could have picked that would have made more sense.......

they have smoot, springs, jer. butler and david macklin at corner. that ain't a bad group. who was available in the 5th round that would have made a difference?

you know more about this stuff than i do, but it seems to me that jpalmer in the 5th with shaky QB depth is not a bad move
and it's hard to argue against a player like blades in the 6th, regardless of what positions you need to fill.

D+, ouch, boring doesnt mean unproductive, although I guess not having a 1st will kill the sexiness of the draft

palmer wasn't that bad.....actually the players they got weren't that bad but corner and d-line was non existent....this is a team that should have tried more for position in my opinion......but landry is a stud and to me was the #2 prospect in the draft behind Calvin Johnson......no arguements from me on that one....

Plus I have to admit I like Butler a lot...when I wrote this they hadn't acquired Butler.....that is an upgrade since this was written.
