2008-
What an EXTREMELY weak class for RB's this year. Luckily McFadden will be entering the draft. I would expect at least Rice and Stewart will as well.
Hart is decent, but too fragile and small for an every down back in the NFL.
Choice is not as talented, but plays bigger than what he is. I don't know how much he'll show up in the pros, but he has worked hard to get where he is.
Bernard was expected to breakout this past season, and showed his potential, but didn't over impress. He has a strong chance to be the best back in the Pac-10 along with Forsett.
Patrick is not a pure RB, and is too straightforward to play an entire season. Plus he will be splitting carries with 3 more RB's this year.
With Stewart's measurables, he will go higher than his stats show at Oregon. He is the most talented back besides McFadden in 08 and 09.
I don't see Slaton coming out this year, but if he does he is a fringe 1st rounder. He lacks the size needed and is usually strictly an outside runner.
2009-
Now this is a nice class. McFadden is clearly the best prospect in the draft the next 2 years.
Rice is a great shifty back who can still go in between the tackles. His size will hurt him though.
Felix Jones will definitely have to prove he can be a #1 RB after McFadden leaves. A great returner, but he'll need to improve at RB, even with a 1000 yard season.
Charles is so talented, but has only shown that in a few games his career. He is extremely fast, but doesn't play the RB position as well as he is a track star.
Sutton was amazing as a freshman, and dropped off a lot sophomore year. With the way the offense dropped off and is still not back to what it was, it will be hard to live up to his first year.
