Plenty of depth available at all of those positions. With the needs you have (minus QB possibly with Byron being a FA, and maybe WR) the options should be plenty.
If juniors that are expected to declare do indeed declare it will be a very deep draft in certain positions. It is pretty top heavy at RB, WR and weak at QB and safety. Other than that, it is pretty deep everywhere: OL, DL, LB, and CB.

I forgot about the Byron situation... haha. If he gets hurt again, I think we'll be high enough in the draft to get another QB... hopefully we bring in a veteran from another team.

I only read the mock, not the comments posted, but honestly, that mock has a lot of problems.
The Lions took their QB of the future this year in Stanton. They wont take Brohm next year.
The Bucs wont take a CB in the 1st. The tampa-2 scheme is popular because you dont need "shut-down" CB's to play it, thats why Bly was a bust in Detroit and was traded. I think the Bucs have more important needs, like a LT to protect the blindside and at that point, with Long gone, a LT like Baker works well.
Carolina is set at OT with Wharton and Gross both in their prime. Why would they take another OT?
Why would Jax take Long? He's best suited for a 3-4 defense and Jax runs a 4-3 defense where they ask their DT's to stuff the run and their DE's to get the passer. Thats not Long's strength.
Seattle has Hasselbeck, they just signed Wallace to a 5 year deal, and they drafted Green out of Georgia a few years ago to groom as their future QB. Why waste a 1st on a QB when they have bigger holes?
Philly wont take a CB. A safety might be nice, if a stud like Phillips falls to us, but besides that, i dont see any picks in the secondary. We could use a good OLB, and if a stud DE falls it would be nice. With the way that draft went though, i would look at Quentin Groves, DE Auburn for them. Odds are this is the last year for either Howard or Kearse and we use a 4 man rotation at DE so Groves would help Cole, Abiamiri, and Thomas get after the QB.
A RB for San Diego? That has to be the worst pick. I know Turner is going to leave and that Sproles probably cant carry a full load, but lets be honest here, if Tomlinson gets hurt that teams not going to the superbowl anyway. Giving them a RB is like giving Indy a QB in case Manning gets hurt, it wont happen that early.

I've already stated many a time about Brohm and Detroit.

I disagree about Carolina being 'set' at OT. Gross still has yet to live up to the top 5 spot of his, and Wharton is decent, but not great.
Jake Long is 6-4 285, so he can fit in both 4-3 and 3-4. Virginia runs the 3-4, but Long is versatile, and I think he is better suited in the 4-3. Long is still a very good pass rusher.
I made the draft before the Seahawks signed Wallace to a 4 year deal, but Hasselbeck will be 32 next season, and Greene is not the QB of the future for that team. I also don't see Wallace as their QB either. I've also commented on that prior to your post. Seattle just signed Kerney, drafted a CB in the 1st round 2 years ago and took Wilson early. Atkins and Tapp will play plenty and take over at DE. I think Morris is more than capable of being the RB after Alexander leaves.
Groves is too small for DE, he is definitely a 3-4 OLB. DE depth is good, but with where Philly drafted, Jenkins is a steal, and an automatic replacement for Will James and can take over for Brown if he leaves. I've heard that Sheldon hasn't looked stellar all offseason. Safety is too weak to take a first rounder, especially with that late of a pick. OLB would be a more expected pick with the depth available.

LT will be going into his 9th year as the RB in San Diego with a lot of use on his legs. Granted, he is the best RB in the league, but they should still be preparing for his departure. We know that RB is the quickest position to deteriorate. Stewart fits that offense very well, and would get to learn behind the best back. You can't get much better value at the 30th spot besides maybe Frank Okam who would fit very well there.

Injuries can always change it, but CIN is strongest depth wise along the OL with Whitworth and Andrews groomed to fill wherever needed. Though neither have the agility you like at LT, Levi turns only 28 this week and is signed for a few more seasons.
Hopefully someone worthy of being picked at DE or DT is in our spot this time as filling up with average talent along the Dline will make all the high draft picks on DBs go for naught. Justin Smith will be gone almost certainly, but what happens with Rucker, Bryan Robinson, Fanene, Pollack.. the list goes on. Someone has to get to the QB.
Other areas of need are TE though they haven't picked one since Marv arrived in 03, a titanium suit for the backup RB, another LB or two since Landon and Caleb will be FAs and since Ahmad Brooks sucks. Oh yeah, we're expecting a handful of compensatory picks so I'd trade up and grab a D Coordinator since Bresnahan will be axed following the season.

I don't want to be picky over certain selections...other than saying this is a very respectable effort for an early mock...nice work

thanks DJ
I would actually prefer you let me know what's wrong. Making a mock this early isn't that easy, I'd like to know what you think I should fix. (besides Detroit and McFadden)

If we have the #2 pick, then I won't be real mad but I can't see us taking a QB. Well actually I could but not with McFadden on the board.
