This is good news for everyone! It's great to see a player not give up and want to play as long as possible, especially when he still has 2-3 years left in the tank. Favre should clone his body for NFL scientists.

I agree...now when I think of Farve I think "INT"...not "HOF"...

I think it's good that he still wants to play but i think hes just stretching things out just a bit too far..hes getting old and i believe he said he played in pain for most of the year..i dont understand why he does it

I don't think that most cheese heads could possibly be happy about this...

I honestly believe that Farve is one of the worst starting QBs in the NFL right now and I challenge anyone here to name 6 starters in the NFL that are worse than Farve...

(time for the "omg your crazy, Farve is greatness" replys)

Yea,Brett Favre still does well in Green Bay,he just needs a decent team to work with...Anyways,Brett signed a one year deal and I really think this will be his last year in the NFL.

Even though Favre has been a thorn in my/Bears side during his career with a record of 21-8 I believe, I do have respect for such a dedicated player. This just shows how much love he has for the game.

Yea,I said in another thread that he has alot of heart for the game of football and you cant take that away from him...Thats why he hasnt retired...People try to run Brett Favre into the ground saying he sucks and all this and he needs to retire. He doesnt need to do anything,he has alot of heart like BU54 said.Good post and rep!

not what you said here...

and maybe he doesn't have much of a team, but if I was a cheese head I would be very upset about this...they need to rebuild and him staying doesn't help...

And in that same thread I said that he has alot of passion for the game and doesnt NEED to do anything...I wouldnt mind seeing Brett Favre come back but im a Brett Favre fan and i hate seeing him ruining his stats...I want him to have a good year this season coming up but thats askin for alot especially for a young team like the Packers.

I guess thats your view but Brett Favre has always thrown picks, hence the gunslinger name. The 29 he threw two years ago was alot, but the 18 this year was about what hes usually good for.
