If the Ratbirds score more than 10 points I'm going to go crazy

Alas, it's true, I consort with a Bengals fan. You know, with all the trash he's talking now, you'd swear it hadn't been decades since they last mattered in this league. But I digress...

Let's get back on point, shall we? Say what you want about the Broncos slip up against the Chiefs last week, but if my memory serves me correctly, the Ravens needed a last minute comeback to beat the Texans that same day. Moreover, the only reason why they made it (much like the Rams the week before that) is because Houston's playing for the #1 pick in the draft.

Seriously, my 24-13 prediction was generous when you think about it. The Broncos might be struggling, but the Ravens are just what the doctor ordered: inept on offense and in complete dissaray on defense. Perhaps if Billick plays Chester Taylor some more and the defense actually shows up for once, they have a chance to keep it close, but that ain't likely. 31-10 Broncos might be more like it.

Hell, I'll drink to that!

I'm thinking the Broncos will go on to win the next three games by a combined score of something like 80-30.

And if this all doesn't turn out quite like that, well, my use of some of these smiles is designed to give me a damn fine excuse:

Considering the only real thread on offense the Ratbirds have is Todd Heap, we should be able to double team him and put a lot of pressure on their star QB

i think you're the first person EVER to put "star" and "qb" and "boller" in the same sentence without somehow creating a paradox

I've never thought of myself as THAT original of a person, so now I would not expect myself to be the first person. But that does not make it any less funny!

This will be a closer game than many expect but I still think Denver comes out on top.

the only reason it'll be close is cause none of shanarat's tricks work on us. but the talent difference this year should be enough to overcome that
