Good football day. Pittsburgh lost, Indianapolis lost, and New England is getting spanked. If the Jets win tomorrow, it would be an almost perfect week 15.

Of course New England orchestrates a comeback. Typical, and disappointing.

The 49ers hold on, though. That game had a lot of playoff implications, and the niners showed they aren't a slap-dick team.

No way.

This Patriot team shows tonight it has true grit and a lot of heart.

We...

- Were missing our top offensive threat not named Brady
- Lost one of our top 2 corners for half of the game
- Missed out on a number of fumble recovery opportunities
- Had every fluke play go the other team's way
- Were down by 28 points

Then we tied the game.

It's very rare to see the Patriots have 4 turn overs. It won't happen again. Gronk was sorely missed that game, his blocking and his play making.

We're the #1 offense in the NFL and this has been achieved without teams having to understand the danger of Gronk and Hernandez being on the field together at the same time. We'll have that advantage back in the play offs.

The Patriots showed themselves tonight that they can carve the #1 defense up like butter. I will guarantee you, if the 49'ers make the Superbowl, they're not going to want the Patriots there waiting for them, but that's exactly who it will be.

Denver doesn't scare me, home or away, and Texas doesn't scare me, home or away.

I'm not less confident tonight than than I was yesterday.

Tonight's game reminded me of the regular season Patriots v Giants game in 2007.

They beat us tonight. We'll beat them in the Superbowl.

What a ****ing game. At 31-3 I figured it was over. That comeback had me on the edge of my seat. But not a lot of teams would be able to get the momentum back that quickly. Good to know that we can hold our own against a great Patriots team that just doesn't lost at home this time of the year.

It was the best game of the season and one of the best regular season contests I can remember in recent memory. The kind of game where I walk away with a loss still brimming with pride for my football team.

I hope we have that rematch in the Superbowl. Not to take away from what the 49'ers did, but if you guys are going to beat us again this season you're going to have to play a lot better because you won't have a 28 point pillow to rest your head on at halftime should that be this years Superbowl.

Awesome game, though.

I've said it on another forum. Tom Brady in the 3rd and 4th quarter was like Russell Crowe in the Gladiator yelling "ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED!? ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED!?"

Was an always clash of two heavyweights in the NFL.
