NFC Championship Game: Giants vs 49ers
I don't think many people thought this would be the match up for the conference title. Giants are scary, they're the hottest team in the playoffs, eerily similar to their 2007 run to the SB title. Should be a very physical and hard fought game, but the Giants come out the winners in the rematch. After all Davide Carr is returning to San Fransisco, revenge time!

I love how people keep saying the Giants are the hottest team in the league as if the 49ers aren't just as hot, especially coming off that victory against the Saints. Going to be fun. We beat them once; I think we can beat them again. Should be a close, defensive battle throughout.

The Giants have never lost an NFC Championship game in their history (4-0). I think the Giants can come up with another victory, albeit very close 27-23.

Tough one to call for me. I like both teams, the 49ers from the Montana era, but I'm from NY so I'll hope the Giants can pull it off even though I honestly don't think so.
Think I'll just bet on the Pats and leave this one alone.

I did have this game in my bracket.
Giants will fall. They won't be able to do anything against this D.

Giants never get any respect. They're going to win this game.

OK picture this scenario, Giants beat 49ers then go on to win the SB. Then the media has another cinderella story for the Manning brothers to be the first brothers to both win a SB.
Reminds me of when Jerome Bettis and the Steelers won the SB in Detroit the last year if his career.
Jerome Bettis born in Detroit wins SB in final year of his career in his home town.

They're already trying to string up a story about Eli playing Peyton's mortal enemy in the city that he built, blah blah blah. Seems like a stretch to me.

This is going to be the game to watch! I so hope that the 9ers can pull it off. the win against the Packers was pretty huge in my eyes, they were able to contain AND out score whom I thought was a lock at being in this game, if not THE big game, so colour me impressed. The 9ers on the other hand have also weaved some magic... All in all I can't wait for this game.

I don't even want to think about it, Giants are going to win this game. If Alex Smith made it to the SB it would be the biggest fluke since Rex Grossman made it there. Giants are just too good right now. They are healthy on defense now, so that weak 9ers O line is going to have problems keeping Smith upright. And we all know that when he's under pressure is when he makes his worst decisions. Eli is playing the best football of his career, Cruz is the most explosive player on the field, Nicks has become a titan since the playoffs started. The only real weakness to their game right now is Jacobs and Bradshaw as they are not producing much on the ground. But the 9ers don't give up much there anyways so no big loss.
