When did this forum stop being football fans talking about football to a bunch of babies crying about the refs?

Humans by nature, not just refs are biased and emotional and make mistakes.
With that said I can see bad calls intentionally made on the field when players insult the refs ect. We don't hear what's said on the field and that's a good thing. Refs have favorite teams and dislike others just like we do. I used to get PO'd about bad calls long before we had reviewable calls. We also have many more rules now, horse collar ect. To me that one can simply be called unneccessary roughness but whatever.
Bottom line is complaining about bad call changes nothing. Yes we all hate to see them but it's part of life in every sport.

OK now to the bad news. I too have noticed less football discussion especially about the NFL. I must admit I'm not here as much as I used to be but not by choice.

I agree that Refs have made bad calls and will always make bad calls... but like you said, crying about it changes nothing. Every teams has weeks where the refs seem to be against them the players just need to do their best to avoid anything that could look like a penalty and play their best despite the adversity. Coming on a forum and crying that the refs hate your teams is obnoxious because everyone feels that way at some point in their fandom.

I was tempted to make a comment on one of the recent "refs screwed us" threads, but decided that it would only encourage the thread starter. The best thing to do is to ignore it! We all feel that our team has been hard done by from time to time, but some people just think that their complaint is more important than everyone else's.
