All burning the 2nd amendment accomplishes is to make a population helpless against a would be tyrant and assure criminals from coast to coast that any private residence they may, for whatever reason, decide to invade, will have no means of defending itself.
Also, criminals, by definition, would still have firearms since the law isn't something they abide by. All Bob Costas stupidity would achieve is to punish law abiding people and make them all victims and prey and an NFL football game isn't the place for him to try to rally stupid people to his idiotic cause.

I must have missed the part where he said to burn the 2nd amendment. I think he was more/less alluding to some sort of gun control. There are enough guns in this country that if every citizen had one, there would be ample left over.
