Sports-media way over hypes everything to generate more enthusiasm and interest. 2 years ago ESPN was calling Mark Sanchez the next Tom Brady. Earlier this season they were asking each other if Flacco was an elite quarterback.

I could go on for hours.

Are the Denver Broncos for real?
Every time they've played a Superbowl contender they've been smashed. The games weren't even competitive despite ESPN trying to sell "comebacks" who came just short but the reality is anyone who watched the games now otherwise. Denver wasn't competitive. Not against Atlanta, Houston or New England. They're now on a 9 game win streak against the bottom feeders of the NFL. Oakland. 2-12 Chiefs. Phillip Rivers. Etc.

Is all this Denver hype justified? They have a young defense that I don't think can handle the bright lights, they have a dome quarterback who has historically played very poorly in the post season. Their biggest defensive weakness is New England's greatest strength.

Denver fans think they're not the same team that lost by two scores to New England but... is that even true? It's easy to start thinking that when you're playing nobodies. More over, other teams have done a lot of improving as well.

So who thinks Denver is just gonna' get slapped in the mouth in the play offs?
One and done or limp past the first game and get smashed in the second.

Even if you don't think they are a true superbowl contender, you got to admit what Pyeton Manning has done for the Broncos team has been pretty amazing.

Do I think they could win the superbowl? Honestly, no. But what they have done so far is pretty amazing.

That's just ESPN talking. Denver has a top 5 defense in the single worst division in the NFL. I would hope he could make the play offs... I'm not that impressed with it compared to what other people are doing. Denver was a one game away from the AFC Championship last season and that was with Tebow.

So what's Peyton doing really?

What's amazing is Andrew Lucke taking the 2-14, badly diminished Colts to the play offs in a much stronger division, have a win on Green Bay and have gotten a look at a lot of the NFL's top teams this season.

He is very good player nd Denver has a top 5 defense in the single worst division in the NFL.

We'll see what happens, the AFC is kinda weak this year they may just be the 2nd best team in the playoffs

The superbowl goes through Denver. I say the Broncos are for real. The Texans are struggling, the Ravens are not that good of team as late. The Bengals could be the one who could pull an upset. The Patroits don't scare teams like they used to. So Denver could easily end up in the superbowl. Any given Sunday.

Peyton is having a great year, their D is legit and they have homefield. As good as chance as anybody.

Hey, I ALWAYS believe in the Broncos!

Please excuse me if I don't give an in-depth analysis of why I think my team is great and why it will go far. If Peyton Manning helps us get to (and maybe even win) the Superbowl, all the better!
