Manning called the running play on 3rd down and 7.
That tells me Manning didn't want the ball.

He clams up in big game situations.

To me he didn't feel comfortable in the cold weather. Not an excuse or anything, but remember he played in Indy a dome. Thats why I was surprised that he chose Denver over the niners.
