*An associate of mine is a Packers fan. The other day I wore my Bennett jersey over to his house. His 8 year old son was watching TV in the living room. When I walked in, the kid jumped up and started head-banging and said, "Daunte Culpepper is the best quarterback in the league. Randy Moss is the best wide receiver in the league." I asked him what his favorite team was. He proudly said, "The Minnesota Vikings."
It just warms the heart.
*A few weekends ago, I had to put in some training time with fellow employees. The supervisor decided to intentionally piss us all off because he is a power-tripping packers fan (perhaps the most hardcore packers fan I have ever met). I decided to hand out Vikings shirts and jerseys to everyone who showed up for the training. When our supervisor showed up (nearly a half hour late) he was surprised to see that all but one of his subordinates was displaying Vikings gear. Before he even said goodmorning to anyone, he stopped in front of my buddy and stared at his shirt for about 30 seconds with a scowl on his face.
Before we departed later that day, I asked him if he thought the Packers could turn their season around. He replied, "I don't want to talk about it."
