In your opinion who is the best Safety duo in the NFL?
I think i'll have to go with Rodney Harrison and Eugene Wilson of the Pats you've got Harrison the big hitter and then you've got Wilson the ball-hawk they both play great together and compliment each others playing styles.

You could make an argument for Woodson and Williams, but now that Woodson probably won't ever play again it's kinda hard to do that. With the eagles duo you have one of the best safeties in the game today, and one of the up and coming. The same thing could have been said for Williams and Woodson but now that Woodson isn't in the picture and there is a better Roy Williams in the NFL (you know I had to) I think it goes to Dawkins and Lewis.

agreed, if woodson were playing the debate over them and dawk/lewis could go on forever.

I guess we'll see. I'd like for him to come back but he's getting up there in age. I'll tell you what if he comes back for next season I'll start up this topic again and you can scream Williams and Woodson as the best all you want. lol.
