What do you expect? They have Bill Parcells and Jerry Jones. Two people who the media(ESPN) can give a verbal-nut licking to.
And there's another reason to prove MSNBC knows NOTHING about football. The Cowboys on THE RISE? Signing Reggie Hayward is a lackluster pick-up, but signing Drew Bledsoe? SUPER BOWL MOVE!!!!
Drew Bledsoe's QB Rating was only a few tenths higher than Testeverde's last season

I am, but I thought that this year it would be different... we've got a coach, a GM, and some good veterans, and a very solid draft class this year, half our starters from last year returning from injuries, and the other half newer, better players.
I agree that the jags free agent pickups werent run of the mill.. maybe if yall had serious Dline problems, then I would consider it run of the mill.. but with the good Dline yall already have.. the additions you made will just make it one of the better Dlines in the league (which it actually already was).
However, I agree with them on the Matt Jones pick. Yall needed a more solid pick at WR... yall NEED help there, and Matt Jones may or may not be it. if he DOESNT turn into a good WR.. then I have a feeling yall are gonna be in a tough spot for the next few seasons.
Basicly.. I dont think the Jags should have been mentioned as a team on the rise yet.. but I dont think yall are a team on the decline either.

You don't go from perennial cellar dweller in the AFC North to contention. It's a tough division and tougher still with the injuries you guys suffer EVERY year. I still don't see your QB situation all that great. Least not for a couple of years. And Braylon Edwards ...
