QB's
Donovan McNabb
This guy has a bulls eye on him for all the wrong reasons. Now the NAACP is attacking him. I've never heard anything more ridiculous. Attack McNabb for choking in the big games, and I'm right there. Attack him for anything else and you have no basis. The guys is as decent a human being as there is.
Brett Favre
Quit already, and stop the complaining. He's been nothing since Holmgren left. It's clear now that without Holmgren babysitting Brett, he's just a big armed loser who has been killing his team with bad decisions for years now. John Madden must be heartbroken.
Kyle Orton
How many other rookie QBs win 9 games and then get benched? The second coming of Roethlisberger, his coach woke up and realized that winning with just one dimension was not enough. I feel bad for him, but he's probably ROY and will start somewhere, very soon.
Big Ben R
The phenom is starting to look injury prone. Not good news for a team that can't even show up for work when he isn't playing. He's also starting to press and force bad passes. Many Steeler fans think Cowher siuld build the O around him. Bad news from a team that can't win throwing 25+ times a game no matter who QB's.
Carson Palmer
If not for the stat (Manning) lovers, Palmer would be acknowledged as the MVP. He's that good and no one does more for their team right now.
Kyle Boller
One good game an Raven fans are hopeful. It's a mirage. The Ravens QB will suck no matter who it is. It's the curse of Elvis (Grbac that is).
Kurt Warner
Has there ever been a more complete rags to riches to rags story? Watching Warner ascend to the SB was one of the most uplifiting NFL stories ever. Watching him drag his broken headed, arthritic handed, washed up *** to NY and then ARI has been gut wrenching. (The aliens took back the pod, I just know it)
Drew Brees
I was completely wrong about this guy. He's not only proved that he can win, he's proven that he can win under Shotty, which is no small task. The bad news for Brees is that Shotty will need a fall guy for the annual postseason choke, and Marty's hand pick is waiting in the wings.
Michael Vick
The next "QB of the Future" is already starting to look like the QB of the past. Vick is still just a RB under center, and the Dirtybirds are beginning to struggle from being one dimensional.
Aaron Brooks
Note to Aaron. You can't suck that much under pressure and criticize coaches, management and the league. This 2nd best HS QB next to Allen Iverson should be looking for a new team next year. Let's hope he ends up where he belongs in the Arena league. He;ll ahve plenty to criticize there.
David Carr
I've nicknamed him 7-up. Never had it, never will.
Chad Pennington
Mark my words, he'll be back throwing 4-yard flutterballs next year. Pennington was a perfect fit for Hackett's dink and dunk attack. But did the Jets even bother to consider who their QB was when they chose Heimerdinger and his downfield system? Steve McNair had the arm for it. Pennington can't kick the ball half as far as McNair throws it. Just cut your losses and let him go to SF.
Alex Smith
This guy typifies the bad money thrown on early picks. I call him "NFL" cause he's NOT gonna be around FOR LONG. WTF, 49ers? There was no real #1 out there so you threw a load of money at Smith anyway. Well, he may not have a big arm, but he makes up for it by being gutless and making terrible decisions. Jesus, I know he's a rookie, but he looks like Lucas out there.
Jake Plummer
See Kordell Stewart circa 2001. The team can disguise his weakness in the RS, but come playoff time, he's still Jake Plummer.
Byron Leftwich
He's ever bit as tough as the media made McNair out to be. He's just not that good a QB. The Jaguars have not been an offensive team with Leftwich. They can win with David Garrad for God's sake.
Marc Bulger
The curse of Warner lives in St. Louis, Pop Warner that is. Because Bulger is just about durable enough for Pop Warner ball and that's it.
Drew Bledsoe
Drew is living proof of how great a QB can be if you just give him 13 seconds to throw.
Eli Manning
This kid is getting better, and getting worse at the same time. It doesn't matter. As long as he stays away from the chicken dance at the LOS, he's the preferred Manning.
Paidaton Manning
I have nothing to say until the postseason. Manning has proven himself as a great RS QB. So what.
