I don't know about you, but I cry about getting disrespected on a daily basis.

You know, in 2001, yeah i agree, they were disrespected. People said they would never stop the Rams offensive Jaugernaut (sp?). Some even said their win was a conspiracy because of 9-11.

In 2003, i can see them being disrespected a bit. Carolina was being compared to the 2001 Patriots. The little team that could, tough defense, smashmouth offense, etc.

In 2004, alot of the experts considered the Patriots to be underdogs. After all, Philly had tore it up during the regular season, played amazing defense, great offense. New England meanwhile was coming in with a injured secondary which everyone expected would be shredded by the Philly passing attack.

This year however, everyone expected the Patriots to do well. They were no longer the underdogs, everyone having realized the insanity in betting against Bill Bellichek. However, injuries struck again and the team didnt make it too far in the playoffs.

I guess the point im trying to make is that the "disrespect" card had helped lead New England to 3 superbowls in 4 years. However, its starting to get old. Apparently, Tom Brady and Bill Bellicheck thought the "us against the world" would continue to work however, with everyone on the Pats bandwagon, it kind of lost its charm. Now, when Brady comes out claiming they were being disrespected, it has little effect. He just sounds like a sore loser and a little *****. He needs to realize that they, along with the Colt, are the media "darlings" and that everyone has high expectations for them. Rather than taking everything personally and being "disrespected," show the other team, that simply kicked your ***, some respect and admit they beat you fair and square. IF anyone is being disrespectful its Brady by saying they lost because of a lack of respect.

if any team isnt getting its respect its denver... after the win.. all types of excuses where being made by espn and **** ... they wont even admit we dominated the patriots and where in bradys face all that game

Broncos played an awesome game....I'm so glad I don't have to see another Patriots Super Bowl. Though, I'm scared about this Sunday, you guys are tearing it up.
