tied with Jimmy Smith for the league lead, but his yards, TDs, and average don't even put him in the same league as those other guys

normally I'd make sure the leaders were up there, but those are guys are blowing away the competition

I say at the end of the season (before the playoffs) we name whoever is #1 in each of the fields as the player of the year at that position, then take all of the winners (QB, RB, WR) and put them in polls, and let the league vote on who is the MVP and O/DPOY

with only 3 choices you won't see as many homer votes and we'll have a clear idea of who had the best player

anyone up for it?
