Bear gets tossed from UC
Bears free safety Chris Harris was one of the fans who left the United Center early Thursday, but his departure wasn't voluntary.
Harris was escorted with one arm behind his back by security personnel after getting into a verbal altercation with Miami Heat players about three minutes into the fourth quarter.
''He was talking [stuff] to one of my teammates,'' backup center Alonzo Mourning said. ''And I didn't appreciate that.
''I turned around and said, 'That's unnecessary, man, y'all going home anyway.' He started up with me, and I finished it.''
Heat players pointed out Harris -- who was sitting with teammates Nathan Vasher and Tommie Harris -- to security, which was represented by several people.
Neither Vasher nor Tommie Harris was involved.
''I didn't want to pay any attention to him,'' Heat forward Udonis Haslem said. ''I just wanted to focus on the game.''
Heat players never had heard of Chris Harris and were surprised to learn he played for the Bears.

i fully support chris harris in this. **** THE HEAT. THEY'RE ****ING WHINO'S. I WOULDA BEEN SCREAMING **** AT ANTOINE WALKER ALL GAME. I CANT STAND HIM. he was starting **** all game with scott skiles. also gary payton is a little ***** too, not to mention james posey. they got a team of thugs + dwayne wade. dwayne wade is ok even though i still dont like him.

The guy is a ****ing profesional football player. He should have kept his ego to himself and he wouldn't have to deal with this embarrassing issue that the world now witnesses. Why weren't Vasher and Harris ejected with Harris? Maybe those guys aren't ****ing headcases. |
