i'm not exactly sure what the deal was with Steve Hutchinson but i'm pretty sure it was if he resigned with the seahawks the 49 million was garanteed if he played more then 3 games at the seahawks home field. I don't care what the deal was i just wanna know why more teams don;t put thse type of clauses in the contracts. Is it just becuase its unethical? It seems like a great idea but it just seems liek there something illegal about it

Well Said Tiki, but in a show of (friendly?) 'banter', Seattle signed Nate Burleson to a contract that included a clause saying that if Burleson played more than 2 games in the state of Minnesota, the contract became guaranteed.

ok so if its just unethical then why don't other teams do that. There are many unethical things that they do they only care about making money
