Unless we're going to say that Doug Williams was better than Dan Marino. Brady has the rings that Manning doesn't have because he has had the teams that Manning hasn't had. Would any of us say that Paul O'Neill was a better baseball player than Ted Williams? Of course not, although O'Neill won five World Series and Williams won none. It would be considered idiocy to say that tips the scales in favour of O'Neill. Obviously, he was fortunate enough to be a part of some great teams. He did not win those championships by himself. Yet we disregard the same logic when it comes to quarterbacks. Like what one player can do can somehow offset the other 52.[/b]

In baseball, especially when it comes to hitting, one player can't make his teammates play any better. Same is true for pitching. In football, they all work together, and one player's leadership and playmaking ability can create opportunities for his teammates to also play better.
So there's an inherent flaw in your analogy.
Now, moving on...
If the Colts had Tom Brady as their quarterback, is there any reason Harrison, Wayne, James and Clark wouldn't have at least ONE Super Bowl ring by now? Let's be serious here.
On the flipside, if Manning was the quarterback of the Patriots, would you be willing to bet your own life that Branch, Givens, Faulk and Graham would have won the Super Bowl
three separate times?
LOL!
Let's be real. Manning is the biggest reason why the Colts teams were always "very good" every year, and ironically he was also the biggest reason why they were never "great." Likewise, Brady was the reason why the Patriots became a dynasty and not just a poor rendition of the Baltimore Ravens with Bledsoe as their QB.
