Since this will be here for years to come, better at least give it its own thread and title instead of *****ing in every other thread, and tonight Peyton manning just shot a bullet into the defense of all Brady lovers with his SB win

Greatest ever or between the 2? Montana is still the greatest.

****, I guess we need to have this debate.

How about this: Peyton Manning's whole team came through for him in the Super Bowl, just like Tom Brady's teams in the past. Nothing was on Manning's shoulders and he didn't have to do it all. He did not choke in the big game, his team put him in a position to succeed, and he delivered.

Most of these pro-Brady arguments are null right about now, the only thing anyone can really say right now is that Brady (read: New England Patriots) won 3 compared to Manning's (read: Indianapolis Colts) 1. But that's because of the teams. Not the quarterbacks.

It's still not even that close IMO. Like Lego said in the other thread, Brady was one Reche Caldwell drop away from being in yet another Superbowl.

He was also potentially one bad pass away from the Super Bowl

How about this, in the playoffs where it matters, Tom Brady has himself, put up better stats, and done more to help his team win than Manning has done in the playoffs... that's always been the true argument imo... I agree the SB rings is a team thing.

Still Tom Brady unless Manning plays like he did against the broncos, pats (this time), and bears again a few more times.
