Am I the only one who found it very refreshing to see the superbowl played in real weather? It felt like it was just another game except the stakes much higher. it's how it should be every year, not in ome dome in a warm weather city. And yes, I know most cold weather cities that have domes have had superbowls, but h idea location is somewhere that the media and all the stars can feel great the 2 weeks before.

And you're a fan of a warm-weather team, to boot. I get tired of the pussification in Super Bowls. Give cities like Chicago, Green Bay (although probably not large enough to support one), Cleveland, New York, Baltimore, etc. a chance to host one. Why shouldn't they get one? Because it's cold? **** that.

add seattle to that list, great stadium, rain, snow, we do it all, although usually just rain. But i agree, i think cold weather outdoor games would be sweet, screw whether there is a good party scene or its easier for the media, shouldnt the biggest game of the year embody the spirit of the game? (imo cold weather games)

Seattle is way the hell up in the Northwest and people forget it's even there sometimes. Every time someone mentions it to me or talks about some time when they went there I'm like "oh ****... yeah Seattle." But yeah, Seattle too for hosting Super Bowls.

I think they main reason they don't do it is because of all the events before the SB and the people that usually go to watch the SB are big rollers and I'm sure they would rather be able to party outdoors and stuff like that.
And I guess I can see it that way but I wouldn't mind mixing it up every once and a while. When it's the same thing over and over it gets boring.

You're right. The Super Bowl is just inaccessible to guys like me. I don't have a 6 figure salary. I could give a **** about what rich people want. They think average Joe in, say, Baltimore (just for one example) doesn't like to be outside partying and having fun in warm weather? Oh, it's cold. Boo hoo. The people in those cities manage just fine, but everybody can't afford to go to travel like that. Share the wealth and stop having it in the same cities every year.
Yeah, I wasn't feeling sorry for those richies in the rain last night. Probably half of those "fans" aren't even fans of those 2 teams that played last night. They probably went so they could say they went to the Super Bowl to their friends. I agree the Super Bowl is way too expensive for the average fan. If my team goes to the SB, I probably won't be able to go to the game because its way too expensive.
