Me and a friend are having a debate over which team had the greatest Offense of all time. The 1998 Vikings, or the 2000 Rams.. Which team do you think had the better Offense?
1998 Vikings
Points Scored: 556 *NFL alltime record
Total TD's: 63
Key Players: (QB) Kurt Warner, (RB) Marshall Faulk, (WR) Tory Holt (WR) Isaac Bruce
'98 Vikes set the record for points scored in a season, '00 Rams set the record for all time yardage...I'd take Carter/Moss in their primes over Holt/Bruce...but Faulk was just down right nasty that year...and Warner was actually one of the top QB's back then a s well.
San Francisco years with Montana, Craig and Rice. But the Rams 2000 year was just unbelieavable.
I'm actually going to go with 2000 Rams here, I mean they were elite (I mean best in the league) at every signle offsenive position. Thier OLineman mangled people, Marshall Faulk deserves to be a 1st ballot HOFer, Kurt Warner was something nasty that year, and Bruce/Holt is right up there in terms of greatest duos of al time.

I don't think you can list just two teams within the past decade to have the argument of best offense EVER.
Of the two, I'd go with GSOT. Rams won their SB, Vikes didn't even get there.

That record setting year though the Rams lost to the Saints in the Wild Card round, they had a much better Defense the previous year under Vermeil when they won the SB.
