you say moss makes a good team great why cant he make a bad team average???
maybe cause he cant play well unless there is good talent around him.
did you read what i wrote? i said that i really doubt that any of the top players in the NFL can suceed there. now you say that Brady makes Reche Caldwell and Jabar Gaffey look like Pro Bowlers? hmm i dont consider Gaffneys 47 catches for 591 yards and 6 TDs in his tenure with the Pats to be at the Pro Bowl level. and Caldwells 61 catches for 760 yards and 4 TDs are far from Pro Bowl #s. i dont know what you consider Pro Bowl but that kinda production is no where near real Pro Bowl numbers. its not like Caldwell came outta nowhere, he played 4 years on the Chargers before leaving for the Pats.

i guess 28 is old now, i wonder what are these injuries you speak of last year when he played in all 16 regular season games and has only missed 1 game in his entire career? and dont fool yourself there is a reason why Indy let him go, Edge is just not the same player he was early in his career when he was winning rushing titles.

its not that he isn't the same player, he consistently had a high average, he just doesn't have the offensive line and offensive scheme that he did in Indy, Arizona never throws to the backs and when they do it's to JJ arrington or some other scrub. The HC likes to be tricky and in some games where Arizona could have pounded out some wins, they threw too much. I think with a more solid line and committal to EDGE as a rusher and reciever he could make a nice comeback

im not as convinced as you are about him, to me hes capable of putting up numbers but i really think his days of leading the league in rushing are over. their offensive line isnt worse than the Raiders and with the reciving corps they have i really dont he have to see 9-10 men in the box.

he seemed to me at the end of the year that he didnt finish a few games due to injury. you would know better as being a chargers fan and to me 28 is close enough to 30 to take the opinion that he may be out of his prime.
i'm not saying that he is not a great football player i just don't think he will ever put up the #'s he has in the recent years. thats what i'm getting at when i say he is an overrated player coming into this year.

as for the moss deal i just think he is only good when he wants to be and for him to be good he has to be around good talent. brady seems to make average players look good. cladwell and gaffny never put those numbers up at there original teams. i think its weird that you say moss is the best but thats where we all have our opinions .

no reason to argue on eachothers opinions.

People thinking too highly of someone is the definition of overrated. He is BY FAR the best RB in the game right now, and he is a great player, it isn't even close, but so many people talk about him being one of the best ever, and it is way too early for that. I can't think of any other player in the game who is as overrated, other than maybe Peterson already being called the second best back in the league after one year. I didn't think about Peterson before, but both are overrated.

Best Player: Champ Bailey. I was going to go with Peyton, but I don't see anyone giving the defensive side any love. Champ's zone is the no-fly zone: strictly on lockdown. Plus, his name is Champ.

Most Overrated: Tom Brady. Sick of hearing about the Golden Boy. For me, he is the second best QB in the league. Even if you do not agree with that, I do not see the sports writer bowing down in worship at every chance for Peyton, Favre, Brees, Palmer, or any other QB of choice. Sure, they give all the guys I mentioned credit for their skills, and will rain the praises when they have a good game, but ESPN seems to think the sun shines out of Brady's *** on a rainy day.

Most Underrated: Ben Roethlisberger. He is one of the best in the league. Certainly better than Leinart, Smith, Young, and all the other young QBs. In fact, he is better than A LOT of older QBs. The guy is a warrior, and I think he may be in the HOF someday.
