Best Player- Peyton Manning (Basically the entire team for several years and once they put a defense together he took them to a SB, if he had Brady'steams he would probably have 3 or more rings)
Overrated- Tomlinson (I don't think people give that O-line as much credit as they deserve, they are an all-time great run blocking unit)... I would give runner up spots to Romo and Marion Barber.
Underrated- Marques Colston How this guy didn't get to either Pro Bowl in his two years in ridiculous.

Best Player: Peyton Manning still to me.
Overrated: Hate to say it, but when people talk about Marion Barber being a top 5 back, whens he yet to carry a team, makes me annoyed. People overrate him right now.

where was this "all-time great" run blocking unit in 2001 when he ran for 1236 yards and 10 TDs? what about in 2002 when he ran for 1683 yards and 14 TD? i bet they was there in 2003 when he had 1645 yards and 13 TDs? he didnt just start producing now just because the o-line play has improved. he produced from day one when the ONLY threat the Chargers had on O was in fact Tomlinson. for years he had no true #1 reciever to take the pressure off him, while constantly facing 9-10 man fronts. the guy had already run close to 9000 yards and 72 TDs before he had the record breaking season in 2006. if thats overrated please football gods, bless my team with more overated players like Tomlinson.

maybe you should have said Edgerrin James is awesome if he has Peyton Manning. James now is at best a serviceable back that can occasionally have the big game.
another thing how is Tomlinson slowing down? did you really expect that he was gonna duplicate the record year of 2006? are you really that naive? in his worst rushing year in 2004 he ran for 1335 yards on 339 attempts. this past year he ran for 1474 on 315 attempts. he ran for more yards on less attempts which tells me that he isnt slowing down but hes getting more efficient due to the whole offense improving as a whole. i mean he must REALLY be slowing down if he led the league in rushing again. do your homework before you embarass yourself

Best Player - Randy Moss
he made a good team great, he made Tom Brady into an MVP, Bradys career high in TDs before this year was 28 now it sits at 50. Bradys career high in passing yards was 4110 and now it sits at 4806. that is a major difference. to me i can forget about the 2 years he had in Oakland because i very much doubt anyone of the top players can suceed there with Al Davis putting in his hands on everything. this guy made Daunte Culpepper look great, extended Randall Cunninhams career for a few seasons and now helping make Tom Brady look like hes Dan Marino/Peyton Manning.
Overrated - Tom Brady
im not saying the guy isnt good but everyone overrates him like hes the best QB ever. spare me the SuperBowl rings argument because the reason why he got those rings is kicking for Peyton Manning now. before this year most of his yards came from his recievers YAC. hes made a career of throwing short passes and letting the recievers do the work. yeah he has many games in which a kicker has come in to save the day but does he have any John Elway down by more than a FG game winning drives? he makes the right plays most of the time but when the pressure is on him he folds.

if moss was so good and brady underrated then moss would of made all those raider qbs great. and that didnt happen moss cried all season on the bench. there is no way brady is overreated he made moss the best he could possibly be and even makes players like reche caldwell and jabar gaffeny look like pro bowlers. caldwell barley made a team last year and the before he was the leading wr for the pats.
you say moss makes a good team great why cant he make a bad team average???
maybe cause he cant play well unless there is good talent around him.

if arizona had a line he would have the same #'s as he did in indy and if you watched football last year if i remember right tomlinson was on the sideline quite a bit with injuries
I also stated that coming into this year i thought he was the most overrated. last year know body would of said that . hes getting old and looks like in my opinion he wount be the same this year as recent years
P.S. DO YOUR HOMEWORK SO YOU DONT EMBARASS YOURSELF!!!!

They had very good run blocking O-lines in alomst all those years, but that's beside the point. I think he is far and away the best RB in the game today, I call him the most overrated player in the NFL because people have already started calling him a top 3 all time back, which he has a long way to go before he even approaches. Right now he is in my top 10, barely... but he is the only one still playing and can easily move up if he stays healthy and keeps putting up big numbers.

those offensive lines were patchwork at best. if you think he is the far and away the best RB today, then how is he overrated just because some people think that he is among the all-time greats? what people think has nothing to do with what he has accomplished on the field. what you shouldve said that he is overrated in the all-time discussion which is 2 entirely different things.
