I agree that Belicheat should be suspended for a lengthy period of time. To tape signals for a regular season game is one thing, but to tape the opposing superbowl team's walkthroughs is another. As a phins fan, im eating this **** up!! lol

A single witness is a bit thin for any kind of punishment...

But, if found guilty Belicheat has to resign - no matter what official punishment he receives!

Coaches and Players in the NFL are role models - and have to behave accordingly - on and off the field - if they like it or not...

A convicted cheater as a role model? Please not!

Belicheat can still go to the TV-Networks (and earn his millions there) - as a commentator he can use as much tape as he wants :-))

yeah, i'm not so sure he'll coach again if he actually cheated in a Super Bowl. That's on the Pete Rose level of scumbag if not higher.

Wow and we know all this because Matt Walsh has talked with Goodwell.

Just like any other crime.. If you are being punished for it once and its proven that you're guitly of the same offense a 2nd time you will still receive punisment for both. What's fair is fair. What type of message would it send the league to let the Pats go unpunished for an offense against the league's regulations while players are being punished by the leauge for any crimes they are being charged with or violation of league policies. Harshly. Even if they are from incidents/violations happened prior to ol' Roger Goodell reign of player discipline. Staff discipline should be held to the same standards otherwise the NFLPA will notice this bias.

If suspension of coaching staff is out of the question, punishment should 2nd round pick next year, a 3rd two years later and a 4th the year after that. Sounds like much, but how short of a leash is Pacman Jones and other players who've been in trouble with the league? Just a one and done punishment seems like a slap on the wrist.

Comparing this to Pacman Jones is a joke. First of all Pacman to me is the prime suspect in killing someone. I don't finding cheating and murder on the same page. Second its obvious that if theres new info then they'll get punished again. That was stated back when it all started. The question is what will it be and I believe lying definitely deserves a suspension. As much as it pains me to say it its the only fair and logical next step.

Default Let's Move On!

Isn't it funny how everyone is after the Patriots, only because they've been on the top for so long. LET'S MOVE ON!
