Even Pacman has never been convicted of any felony. They made an example of a guy who a bunch of minor charges most of which never even went to court. The league is very two faced with the way they treat these things.

Lable people all you want. Why not call a thug what you really want to call it?

Our country teaches people its ok to dehumanize a group of people by labeling them as something thats seen as wrong. (ie terrorists, communists, thugs, etc). I'm strongly against this since its the 1st step to genocide and a great foundation of hate. Its a great way to mislead people into thinking someone is less of a human and deserves lesser treatment because of the label. Funny you use the word crusade to define my opinions on fair punishment for the violation of league rules when Goodell is on a crusade to clean up the players acts off the field not so much the cheating that players and coaches do on it.

NFL is over stepping its grounds to punish 'thugs' but letting the Good Ol' Boys Patriots slide. Dude is a fool for getting into trouble over and over again but you can't hang em high like some people still believe.





Besides, in a weird conspiracy theory type way I thought the whole thing was rigged since the Patriots won out of no where the same year as 9/11. Especially after the Tuck rule... talk about changing the rules to justify a bad call.

Well this argument is stupid because all the new reports say nothing new is on the tapes. Meaning the Patriots won't get punished, and they were telling the truth and Matt Walsh is a liar.

I really am serious when I say I'm against this double standard because I'm looking at the NFL as a company like any other being bias. I actually like the Pats to an extent. Not going to call myself a fan nor will I say I want them to win more than the Titans, Chargers or Jags.. but over the Colts and Steelers.. Go Pats.

Listen, I understand what you mean by labeling leads to prejudice. But theres something fishy about a dude gettign in 12 run ins with the law in 2 years. The reason I call him a thug is because he can't seem to stay out of trouble. Not all people who do bad things are bad people. He just needs some serious help and councelling.

I am reading that these batch of tapes prove that the Pats were stealing offensive signals, whereas the original batch only proved that they stole defensive signals, which would be more than the original wrongdoing. Thus, I would have to think they would be punished more for not revealing EVERYTHING
