How long before the NFL becomes the most watched sport in the world?
It seems to me that football and the NFL is quickly rising around the world to become the #1 sport while the boring soccer of the old world is quickly falling. How long do you think before football becomes the most watched and popular sport on the planet while soccer becomes disdained just like it is here?
I don't think it will become the most watched sport in the world. Its not that big in Europe and a lot of other countries and I doubt it will spread. I mean even in 3rd world countries soccer is popular.
lol granted the superbowl is the most watched event on tv. But other than that it has a long way to go before it overtakes football in popularity. You seem to really hate football, why?

Baseball and basketball are FAR more popular worldwide than American football. Baseball has a chance to overtake soccer at some point maybe, but football won't

Baseball has ZERO chance. Worldwide, nothing will ever get close to beating soccer.
I don't thikn football will ever over take soccer. If NFL Europe would have taken off like they had hoped then MAYBE, a big Maybe, but even then there are too many soccer fans in other countries that the NFL will never reach. Soccer IMO is so popular in other countries because it is very cheap to play. Football is not cheap by any stretch and kids in these poor countries can not afford to play.
American Football will never take over the world...that is foolish. And why do you say that the "boring soccer of the old world is quickly falling"? What are you basing this on, the status of the MLS? I'm not sure you understand how big soccer really is in this world...
I honestly don't care how big it gets outside of the US I just want the sport to be successful inside of it which obviously it is. I look at it as the current number 1 sport in the US ahead of Basketball and Baseball.
